Shane scowled. "I know I'm me. And I'm not about the change that. I do, on occasion, act like a gentleman," he pointed out, while easily turning the scenario into a joke. He rolled his eyes when she admitted breaking the rules. "You should owe me something for that." As far as his reasoning went, that made sense to him. He pulled the black car easily into a parking space - the car could turn on a dime - and turned it off, taking the key out. "The park," he said with an amused smile. Plus, the lake was bound to be busier on an afternoon of a warm day. With the water, it was preferable to exercising in the park, where it was much hard to her cool down.

Melody returned the kiss, and happily tucked herself under her boyfriend's arm, leaning her head against him. She blushed cutely at his words, but beamed at him as well. "Likewise," she agreed, still smiling. Jamie chuckled once his lips parted for Bray's, having managed to catch her off guard. He let her leave his side, falling into step with Ali. The two quickly fell to bickering, but in a purely playful way. Ali fell back in a mock-annoyed roll of her eyes when Bray reappeared, claiming all her brother's attention. Jamie interlaced their fingers, teasing swinging their hands. "Where are we going?" he asked, smiling his easy, slightly cocky, but totally genuine smile. Ali looked over when Ryan came to her side, rolling her eyes to cover up how it made her want to blush when she simply looked at him. "Hi. Again," she said wryly, keeping her gaze ahead to try to hide her sparkling blue eyes.

Shane chuckled, smiling easily with amused brown eyes. He really did love Breanna. He had to be on his toes with her, and behave himself, both of which were good things. And she didn't care in the least about the fame thing, which he'd decided was the thing that had caused many a break-up before. Girls cared too much about it, got to clingy... He opened his door and stepped out, slamming it behind him and locking the car. "I was going to say a decision, but obviously at the moment that's not needed." He'ed slipped on arm around her waist, and his other hand was lightly against the back of her neck. He leaned down to touch his lips to hers, and when he pulled back, it was only far enough that their lips no longer touched.

Melody smiled, just staying complacently at Tim's side. Jamie rolled his eyes at Bray. "Everyone seems to think you're in charge," he pointed out, running a hand through his blond hair with the hand that wasn't in Bray's. Ali noticed the movement, and smile with a laugh as she tilted her head to look up at Ryan. "Ryan, I pegged you as a lot of things when I first met you. But I never thought hesitant, or shy." She put her hand in his though, blue eyes bright as she looked up at him, half smirk, half smile still on her lips. Jamie glanced back at Ali and Ryan, then looked away, an amused smile flickering to life on his lips. The blond jock was pretty much an opposite to Ryan. He had no problem, making a move, even with a new girl. The junior had never been anywhere near shy, or restrained. It was part of his charm though as he always had this confidence about him. Usually, it didn't reach cocky.

Shane raised an eyebrow when she said she wasn't done, brown eyes sparkling with his amusement. He let himself be pulled down, returning her kiss happily. He made a face at her words when their lips parted, allowing them to speak again. He let her out of his hold, watching her with an amused expression, before following at a leisurely pace. He kept pace at her side, brown-eyed gaze downcast and tranquil. "So. Anything new with Kenzie. Or..." He shrugged. "Anything else?" He was always willing to listen. He didn't have a lot of patience for listening to people usually, but Breanna was an exception to most things in his personality.

Jamie laughed, roll his blue eyes. "I think you are," he protested. Bray was most likely the one who liked to shop the most in the group. Other than Ali. Ali laughed, rolling her blue eyes. The action was one that made it obvious the two Edwards siblings were in fact related. They made almost the same face - annoyed, amused, tolerant. "Doesn't surprise me. That you surprise people." She blinked. That sounded weird. She glanced at their hands, then pouted. "You have big hands," she teased, looking up at him with a smile threatening on her lips.

Shane's arm automatically slipped around Breanna, and he turned his head to look at her. "Wouldn't be it a good idea to take one of these jobs eventually?" he asked. It hurt. The idea of her going off. But at the same time, if it was what ended up being best for her, then it would be worth it. He'd stay here until he graduated as that was the agreement. The agreement that allowed him to work. That was only a year. Then he could head off on tour again, maybe he'd go to college if things died down for a while. Julliard would obviously be awesome. The singer had his lips pursed as he looked down. He lifted his gaze, pulling himself back to the present.

Jamie chuckled. "Okay, okay," he consented. "What do you want to? As an opinion, not as in an executive decision." His blue eyes danced as he teasing her just slightly. He glanced at the ad, then away, expression still lightly amused and easy-going. The fame had never been a factor in his relationship with Bray, but if possible he liked to pretend it didn't exist. The fact that she was famous might pull her away from him someday, and he didn't much care to think of that. Ali mock-scowled at Ryan. "Shut up," she muttered teasingly. She was pretending to sulk as he looked down, pointedly not looking at the boy beside her anymore. It still felt like her heartbeat was going dangerously fast though, just from the touch of his hand. Pathetic - by her normal standards. But so, so amazing at the same time.

Shane nodded, understanding. He'd been through that. He'd had a tutor with him, versus actually going to school. It was hard to balance everything. He glanced down at her, small smile flickering to life. "You don't have to fake smile for me," he pointed out. He watched her grab a water bottle and pay, not offering to treat her. He knew she wouldn't take kindly to it, and so he skirted the issue by not even bringing it up. Plus...he didn't think he had any money with him. In the car - probably somewhere. But not on his person. He shook his head at her offer. He watched her with mildly concerned eyes. He gently claimed asked for her attention, softly pushing her chin up so she'd meet his gaze. "Whatever you decide to do, you know I'll back you 100%, right?"

Jamie chuckled. "What is the world coming to?!" he teased. "This day should go down in history - the day when Bray ran out of ideas." He grinned at her, expecting some kind of reprimand most likely. At her clipped words, he glanced up at the ad once more, then looking to her with a cutely bemused look. "I wasn't going to..." He looked down, expression still tainted with befuddlement. He looked up, grinning at her idea. "Junk food! Sort of. Do I get to treat? Or am I just tagging along?" He wouldn't be pushy with treating. He liked to do things for Bray, but he also didn't mind the idea of saving money. Call it ambivalent - he preferred 'easy-going'. "Where should we go for that?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Ali made a face at him, quickly relenting into a smile. She let him walk away, stopping to wait for him. She pulled out her own cell, texting a friend back, and then just waited. Her expression was patient. She was immersed in her own thoughts when Ryan reappeared. "It's okay," she mumbled, surprised at Ryan's arm around her waist. Her expression went from shocked to a blush. At which point she tentatively slipped an arm around him too. She looked up at him with cautious eyes, but the blush melted away and she grinned, looking away and biting her lower lip against laughter. It was one of those reactions when you're just happy - everything seems to be going your way and you don't even know how to express it. "You didn't sound very happy," she observed, having not heard the words of the conversation, just the tone. She had been spacing out too much to have caught actual sentences.

Melody looked up at Tim, pulled from her thoughts. She shook her head. "No." She pursed her lips. Nope, there didn't seem to be anything Tim needed to know. That he didn't already, of course. There wasn't much that she kept a secret from him. She felt the tightening of his arm and looked up him again, pretty smile gracing her features. "Honest. You know pretty much everything about my life. I was just thinking." She knew Tim had been different before he got involved with her. She'd been different too. For the most part, she remained the same, but there were definitely subtleties. Like how confident she was. Or how willing she was to try new things.

Shane's expression was bemused for a moment, but then smiled at the two blonds. If they took the initiative to approach him, he'd be more than willing to meet them. But as it stood, he wasn't quite willing to go to them. He turned his attention back to Breanna, making a face. Breanna mad at him...that would end up being bad press. Of course, that was the second thought. The first would be that it would be bad for him as a person. He wouldn't be happy, to say the least. He was distracted when Breanna's hands touched his face, so he recoiled for a second, then he relaxed. He met his lips with pleasure, but didn't stay for log, glancing at the blonds without meaning to as he pulled back. Shane turned his full attention to Breanna with a smile putting the pair out of his mind.

Jamie grinned innocently, laughing. He teasingly shied away from her. "Watch it!" he teased further, blue eyes glittering. He smiled again at her next words stumbling and then following when she grabbed his arm. "No doubt they ditched us and therefore we need my Mustang..." He fingered his cell, lips lightly pursed. His dad could probably bring the Mustang. He would be coming out to the general area anyway. Plus, he always seemed to complain about how he could've gotten a ride back with a friend and it was a waste of gas to have to drive back. Jamie rolled his eyes mentally. His dad could be weird.

Ali looked up at him, smiling happily. She shook her head. "Nope." She smiled again, looking away. She listened as he talked, blue-eyed gaze downcast. She looked up to him with an innocent expression when he finished. She tried to think of something to say, expression becoming mildly annoyed when she couldn't. "Oh," was all she managed to respond. Her expression twisted into disgust at her lack for words for a moment before the look vanished, leaving just the hint of smile. She glanced around, finding her brother, and Ryan's sister.

Melody laughed easily when Tim got his words twisted around. "I got it the first time," she said, smiling fully. She was generally just herself around Tim, but now and then she still got nervous. Like when she saw him dressed up to take her to a dance, or anything out of the ordinary. Then her heart seemed to skip a beat, and butterflies took over her stomach. It was amazing and obnoxious in different ways. She smiled up at him when he said she knew pretty much everything about him as well. She glanced to Bray, then grabbed Tim's hand and tugged. "I want a smoothie too!" she stated, grinning innocently before skipped off in that direction.

Shane followed Breanna willingly, glancing back a blond girls with an easy smile before turning back to watch where he was going. He jumped up on the bench after her, sitting down on the back of the bench, following her example. Though he would've sat that way anyway. He hands his hands lightly next to him, brown eyes wandering. "Uh..." he muttered, thinking to himself, gaze now downcast. "I'm seriously recording. Some songs are near down, I'm just starting some...the CD will be out by next Christmas. Before then, more likely. Since that's a ways off..." He was absently twirling his purity ring, lips lightly pursed.

Jamie chuckled. "My dad will undoubtedly be coming up here soon. He can just bring the Mustang instead of his car." He gently pulled his hand from Bray's to walk a few paces away, blue-eyed gaze on his girlfriend until his dad picked up, then he looked away to talk to him. It didn't take long, then he snapped the phone shut and returned to Bray. "He can bring it." He smiled at the wording. It sounded like his dad was bring a sweatshirt or something, instead of the sleek, perfectly cared for Mustang that was Jamie's pride and joy. Well...other than Bray. So, inanimate objectly speaking.

Ali walked happily at Ryan's side, a spring in her step. She looked up when she said oh, giggling. "I'm just happy," she said with an award-winning smile. Her eyes widened just a fraction of an inch when she met Ryan's gaze, unable to look away now. Until he did. Then she was free. She glanced around her, blue eyes only partially interested. Her own thoughts were occupying most of her thoughts. She looked over at Jamie, making a face at him, and getting a face back. She grinned and Jamie scowled. The pair loved each other, it was obvious, but they tried to mask it with irritation.

Melody scowled at Tim for his mock-annoyance, but then smiled. She took the ten, knowing protesting his treating wouldn't work. Besides, she, contrary to some, found such a gesture sweet. "What do you want?" she asked, confused, per usual, when something like that was just thrown at her. She smiled, eyes closing for a moment, when Tim kissed the top of her head. She glanced to Jamie when he returned to Bray. Jamie made a face at her just to tease her and she just pouted back at him. Jamie's gaze flickered over Tim for just a second before he reached Bray's side. Melody smiled, looking down.
